Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Supporting this project will allow me to provide targeted SLA and reading instruction to support their foundational skills aligned with the state objectives. I teach bilingual reading/ESL/SLA intervention and my students are determined and eager to learn. After researching different products, I discovered several that will enhance my instruction, and provide engaging activities to support reading.
Spanish Language Arts and English Language Arts Intervention is key to closing the Gap.
So many of our students are struggling to catch up and reach grade level.
I will use this gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers to fund literacy intervention materials to help my students continue their growth as readers! Reading challenges are an opportunity gap for students that I hope to close.
