Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to purchase a classroom set of Spanish foreign language magazines. Each issue builds Spanish fluency with captivating cultural articles I know students will be excited to read.
In every issue, students will be able to read and write about topics like Spanish music festivals, a map of food in Latin America, or a day in the life of a typical Spanish-speaking teen—building the grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills students will need in class and beyond.
Students will also get access to the Scholastic Spanish magazines’ website, featuring fun Spanish videos and interactive learning activities that will enrich their foreign language experience.
