Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, the United States will celebrate 250 years of its existence. My hope is to give students resources that will help them reflect on topics and historical events through discussion and written expression.
Junior Scholastic magazine articles and resources will give my students a deeper understanding of our country, the world, and their place in it.
In today's world, middle school students need to be able to make an authentic connection to curricular topics. The magazine will be part of an inclusive curriculum that will challenge my students as well as provide resources for students who struggle.
