This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reading is a fundamental life skill that will follow a child throughout their life and help mold them into fully functioning member of society.
With this comes the need for authentic, multicultural, modern, and alluring literature that will help to engage and maintain the curiosity and attention of a 21st century student.
What I am requesting is a class set of several novels which will be of interest to my students and enable academic discussion and collaboration, as well as interest and engagement in the are of English Language Arts instruction.
