My Project
Access to materials to best suit the needs of my students is imperative to break the cycle of poverty. School supplies help create an environment where all my students are prepared to learn and succeed. My students require careful response teaching, I must choose learning materials to reflect the cultural and linguistic diversity of students with disabilities (e.g., developmental delay, autism, ADHD, emotional). Ensuring all my students, regardless of race or socioeconomic status, have access to the necessary school supplies is a fundamental aspect of educational equity. This includes adaptive equipment and materials tailored to specific needs.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
