My Project
VictoryXR revolutionizes the sixth grade ELA classroom by using augmented reality and simulations to bring literature and informational texts to life. But what truly sets VictoryXR apart is the transformative impact it has on students.
This cutting-edge technology creates a richer, more engaging educational journey, fostering a deeper understanding and a lifelong love of learning.
Greek Mythology and Percy Jackson: Imagine students exploring Mount Olympus, interacting with gods and goddesses, and witnessing events firsthand. They can dive into the world of Percy Jackson with 3D simulations of key locations like Camp Half-Blood. Additionally, students can rewrite scenes from Percy Jackson, using AR tools to visualize plot structures and create immersive story settings, thereby enhancing their engagement, comprehension, and narrative writing skills.
I Am Malala, Hidden Figures: Through AR, students can virtually visit Malala's hometown, Swat Valley, gaining a profound understanding of her story and the context in which she lived. They can also engage with pivotal moments in the lives of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson from "Hidden Figures," bringing historical contexts to life and enhancing their grasp of text features and informational content.
VictoryXR can simulate real-world audiences, providing students with an opportunity to practice their oral presentations in a realistic setting. This builds their confidence and public speaking skills while they discuss and analyze "I Am Malala," "Hidden Figures," and "Percy Jackson."
Why Support VictoryXR in Our Classroom?
