This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a student-centered classroom focuses and relies on learning about the students and the ways in which they learn best. One of the most supportive aspects of learning is tapping into their multiple intelligences and providing that level of learning to reinforce the content. Music and audible learning have been shown to be one of the most impactful ways of engaging with the material.
These materials will make a difference by providing the students with not only a classroom set of headphones, but personal pairs to continue their learning at home.
These materials will be utilized to give students the ability to listen to their content, testing audio, and also music while they are independently learning. The goal is to provide multiple forms of support while they are engaging with the literary materials so that they receive auditory support. Many English language learners and students who rely on modifications benefit from having auditory learning that compliments the text.
