This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
AVID's mission is to close the opportunity gap by preparing all students for college and career readiness and success in a global society.
Because not all students at the school can be enrolled in the AVID class, we would like to share the lessons with the entire school by creating a weekly vlog.
The vlog will give the students to present to the entire school about what AVID is, its vision, mission, purpose and its strategies such as GROW, SLANT and the universal skills of WICOR (writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, reading).
