My Students
Every morning, my students walk into our classroom, where I am usually playing Jazz. I find it helps them with their morning transition. My students are full of personality and energy. I tell my students that they are smarter than they think.
My students are Brooklyn’s finest.
They are full of potential and immensely talented. My students are always excited to learn however; they struggle the in most subjects. Everyday they bravely come back to school and try again. Our school is a title one school where most student receive free lunch. The population is mostly African American with a small percent of Asian students.
My Project
During computer time my students focus on building their reading skills. Headphones are much needed in order for my students to fully hear the program without interrupting those around them. Funding this project would help my students who are unable to bring supplies to school due to their families financial situation. Headphones would enhance their learning experience.
Funding our project would allow my students to practice their reading privately without fear of judgment from their peers.
In addition, headphones would also allow my students to work without interrupting their peers. Please lend a hand.
