My 6th-8th grade students come from a variety of backgrounds but all have behavioral needs (I work in a behavior program school). We work on social skills and academics on a class-to-class basis while working to get them integrated back into their regular attendance center with the tools they need to be successful to avoid falling back into their old habits.
They will utilize the headphones during math lessons as well as during their social-emotional learning lessons.
It helps them be successful at their own rates and fill gaps that occurred previously in their education.
