My students are smart, creative, kind, and happy. My students are in that unique stage between elementary and middle school. They are trying to figure out what direction their lives are headed in at the same time as finding their own voice in the large and loud world.
My favorite thing about our students is how strongly their compassion and desire to learn shine through every day.
We are a largely middle-class school, and our rigorous curriculum standards demand an unrelenting pace and focus from our students every day. We have high expectations, and, to their credit, our students rise to meet those expectations every day!
My Project
The materials in this projects will help our students improve their studies. As our students get older, they need to be increasingly familiar with technology. In connection with this students often need headphones for different programs and lessons. Students are invited to bring in their own headphones, however, they can not all afford them. Providing headphones will allow us to even out the learning field for all students. The markers will also allow students to practice their work with color. The freedom to do their work with color and creativity help keep students engaged and motivated.
