My Students
I teach humanities in a school of fifth and sixth graders. With a population of 1500 or so, I have 49 that come in and out of my room each day. My students are exposed to a vast number of technology applications and programs throughout the day. They are intelligent, funny and straightforward individuals who most definitely speak their minds.
My students are innovative, outspoken and creative.
Each one ready to accept the challenges that come with going to school.
My Project
New year, new lessons, new supplies! We need to start out 2019 with a bang concerning our reading! We have the books and a place to read them, but we are lacking the actual shelving. Trying to encourage students to read can be difficult, but by reminding the students you have plenty of options in the classroom has a tendency to encourage their curiosity.
We also need to get more organized for the next half of the year and for these kids it is all about starting from scratch.
New notebooks, new folders, and a document camera so the students can truly see how to break down materials by seeing it happen! Help us get it together and begin the second half of the school year off right!
