My Project
As we returned to school after a challenging year, I want to show our students the importance of coming to school each day. As many schools have, we have seen an incredible rise in chronic absenteeism as a result of the changing school environment, learning in a remote world, family health concerns and much more.
My goal is to start the upcoming school year 22/23 stressing the importance of arriving to school each day to provide all of our students with an opportunity to receive an equitable education.
I have many plans in mind to spread the word and our motto of "Scholarly Bears Show Their PAWS!" The support of a donor(s) will help us, help our students, families and the school community.
As the new school year begins in just a few months, we will start the year by stressing the importance of improved attendance as we are coming out of a year of uncertainties that impacted student attendance.
