Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The specific items we’re requesting are essential for addressing chronic absenteeism and improving students' learning experiences. Motivational rewards, such as recognition awards will provide positive reinforcement for regular attendance, encouraging students to stay committed to their education.
Our primary goals for this project are to significantly reduce chronic absenteeism, boost student engagement, improve academic outcomes, and foster a supportive school environment.
By implementing an effective incentive system and providing necessary support, we aim to create a more stable and motivating learning environment. This, in turn, will lead to better academic performance and a more inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.
Our students are special due to their diverse backgrounds, unique talents, and remarkable resilience. They come from a range of cultural and socioeconomic contexts, bringing a wealth of perspectives to the classroom. Despite facing various challenges, they demonstrate incredible perseverance and curiosity. Their unique skills and strong sense of community enrich our school environment, and by recognizing and nurturing these qualities, we aim to create a supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued and motivated to attend school regularly and achieve their full potential.
