This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, every day matters. When students show up ready to learn and make positive choices, it builds momentum toward academic success. I’m seeking support to create a daily incentive system that will not only encourage students to come to school consistently but also promote positive behavior throughout the day.
Each day a student is present, they will earn one ticket.
If they also demonstrate respectful and responsible behavior, they earn an additional ticket. On Fridays, students will have the chance to exchange their tickets at our classroom “store” for fun, meaningful rewards, building excitement and accountability for their actions throughout the week.
These incentives will motivate students to attend school regularly, knowing their presence and positive behavior are recognized and rewarded. And when students are here and engaged, they are learning, growing, and making progress academically. This system supports a cycle of consistency, responsibility, and achievement.
