This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to support students by removing any barriers that may affect them from reaching their full potential! My office is a safe space for students to come in and be their authentic selves. If they are experiencing hunger from the night before, they can grab a quick snack before their next class! If they need an ear to listen to them, I am there to support!
Our students face uncertainties in their communities everyday.
And I want my office to continue to provide a sense of stability they may not have at home.
