This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the years, our sports program has built a proud tradition of athletic excellence. As both the school counselor and athletic director, I emphasize the importance of maintaining high academic achievement and strong personal character to be part of our teams. Our students have come to understand and embrace what it means to be scholar-athletes at our middle school, and those selected to join a team take that responsibility with great pride.

Providing student-athletes with practice shirts would further enhance their sense of identity and pride in representing our school.

Being part of a team has consistently led to higher GPAs, better attendance, and improved overall behavior among our students.
