Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal for this project is to create a pantry for our athletics program. Our athletes have long days as they arrive by 7:00AM and after workouts and practices they are finally heading home by 8:00PM. Even with the free breakfast and lunch around 2:30PM the athletes are hungry and can use a snack and drink to gain some energy before they meet their team for practice. The pantry would be located in a safe area and monitored. Additionally, many of our students are from low-income families and do not have the funds to buy meals after school. Please help us with our goal of creating an athletic pantry.
