My Students
The 120 student-athletes of our school are very hardworking individuals that are both competitive in their respective sports and in the classroom. These student-athletes compete for their grades and work very hard within their classrooms. Our school is a Title I school located in the hills of eastern Tennessee. This school has a history of having a successful sports programs in TMSAA's and TSSAA's class A. These 120 student-athletes are determined, focused, and have the goal of continuing the winning traditions that have been set forth by our successful alumni.
With these 120 student-athletes in grades 6th through 12th grade, it requires a lot of time, effort, and money to keep medical supplies, equipment, and materials needed for our student-athletes to properly train and competitively compete in our respective sports programs.
With these student-athletes, we would like to give them the best opportunity as possible to become the best at their respective sports. These requested materials and supplies will help us accomplish our goals.
My Project
These medical supplies will allow our coaches and athletic director the opportunity to try to prevent injuries for our student-athletes and better care for student-athletes once they are injured. Since I have been in coaching it has always been a challenge and a struggle to get proper medical supplies and to keep them organized so that we could quickly and properly care for our student-athletes. No matter how well one trains, student-athletes will always have the possibility of getting injured, so with these medical supplies we will hopefully be able to prevent some injuries and also better care for them once they become injured.
The medical bags, pre-wrap, tape, band-aids, gauze, medical tools, and all the medical supplies are essential to help our athletic department to try to prevent injuries and to better care for our student-athletes once they become injured.
These medical supplies will help us properly and effectively take care of our student-athletes in preventative measures and once they become injured. With baseball, basketball, cheer, football, softball, and volleyball programs in the middle and high school we have a lot of student-athletes in our athletic department which makes it very difficult to obtain enough of the proper medical supplies to effectively care for our student-athletes.
