My Project

The R2 Baseball Defensive Training Machine is an excellent tool to enhance both infield and outfield defensive skills for high school baseball players.

For infielders, the machine can be set to launch ground balls at varying speeds and angles, helping players practice fielding fundamentals such as proper glove work, footwork, and quick transfers for double plays.

For outfielders, the R2 can simulate fly balls, line drives, and pop-ups, enabling players to improve their tracking, catching, and throwing accuracy. By varying launch speed and ball trajectory, coaches can create realistic game scenarios that develop reaction time and defensive instincts. Incorporating the R2 into regular practice allows for consistent reps, making defensive drills more efficient and engaging. It’s a versatile machine that benefits players of all skill levels by providing controlled, repeatable drills tailored to specific defensive needs.
