My students are 4th and 5th grade students with intellectual disabilities. Each student has their own learning style, ability, and personality. My class heavily relies on visuals to help them communicate and understand the procedures of the classroom. I truly love what I do and love seeing my students blossom into the best versions of themselves they can be.
My Project
My class is composed of fourth and fifth grade students that have intellectual disabilities. Each student requires a specialized instruction tailored to their specific needs. By providing Teachers Pay Teacher resources, I will be able to provide individualized instruction to my students at home. As the Covid-19 pandemic forces schools to go into quarantine mode at the drop of a hat, students must have instructional materials available at all times. This school year, I have multiple students without internet access. This means they will need access to printed books, math, writing, and fine motor activities.
