My Students

My students are incredibly bright and eager to learn! Since starting 3rd grade in the fall, they have grown so much and are excited to keep learning to go home. Since we have moved to at-home learning, my students and their families are looking for more engagement opportunities.

My students are based in Philadelphia, PA, and have shown they have such a strong desire to learn more and more.

In school, they take great pride in their work and look for challenges to keep their brains growing. We do have so many different levels in our classroom. I have an ESL friendly classroom, so our reading ranges from PreK to fifth grade.

My Project

The main purpose for having a printer during distance learning is to create appealing materials to be used during small group, live sessions with my students.Young learners tend to be very visual and enjoy working and playing with resources. I want to make sure that every student in my class can enjoy every learning session and finish each one of them wanting more. The markers are needed for the dry erase board that I am using, to show new concepts we are learning. Lastly, the charger is needed for the iPad I am using to show math concepts we are learning. They will use these supplies on a daily basis to complete their work and practice skills that will lead them to success. This will allow them to complete their work uninterrupted and focus on the skills they need to learn.

You will be providing my students with basic supplies that every child needs and many do not have!

With LIVE teaching, many materials are needed and I simply do not have these at home.

This project will improve our classroom Live teaching by creating a peaceful and productive learning environment for students to grow and learn academically. Thank you for all your support!
