Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every student learns in a different way and I am a firm believer in differentiating instruction in my classroom so that all of my kindergarten students succeed.
I teach in a kindergarten classroom with 19 kindergartners at an all kindergarten school with 500 students!
All of the students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch. Our school is in a very low socioeconomic community. Most of our students have not had the opportunity to attend Pre-K or have significant learning experiences in their homes.
My Project
My students love expressing themselves through their artwork. My students are given the opportunity daily to explore and be creative through art during our center time and craft time.
With new colorful paper in our classroom, my students will be given the opportunity to expand and explore new learning through their art.
