My students are so amazing. They work so hard in their classrooms and in OT. My students are challenged with art creations by Vincent Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Chihuly and more. Modifying the classroom with assorted seating options provides movement that many students use to attend and concentrate on the lesson being instructed. My students get to practice classroom curriculum while doing activities that are purposeful and meaningful to them. My students are engaged and motivated to create, explore and have fun while learn.
My Project
Assorted seating will be embedded into classrooms to help my students focus and learn. The Wobble seat is in some classes right know and has been such a success, more teachers are requesting them. These seating options can be used at the desk or rug area. These items can also be used to work in small groups with other peers and or with the teacher. Creating a learning environment that is engaging and fun motivates the student to learn more and engage in the learning process. Modifying the classroom environment supports teachers, students and enhances our students to be creative and enjoy learning.
