My Students

Every student in our school has a desire to learn. Kids are constantly asking questions, making predictions, and working to find solutions. PK3-8th grade students do not always have the opportunity to learn engineering skills throughout the day but are very excited to participate in clubs and activities after school.

The students in our school come from a community that emphasizes hard work and encourages students to be successful.

Our students love hands-on learning that can inspire them to explore even more outside of school. Our students take advantage of every opportunity and love to expand their knowledge about the world around them.

My Project

One of the best things about my school is our desire to give students opportunities to participate in a variety of classes throughout the day. We try to expose students to more than just math and reading, and want them to embrace their uniqueness.

Next semester, a group of 8th grade students have asked to start a Yoga and Pilates club.

They are inspired by the strength that they have seen from a few yoga teachers and want to develop those skills within themselves.

I am hoping I can help provide that experience for my students with the addition of individual yoga mats and blocks and place to store them in my classroom.
