Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm reaching out on behalf of our school community located in a low-income area where, for many of our students, sports are more than just games—they are a lifeline.

For some of our kids, stepping onto the court or field is the highlight of their day, a place where they feel safe, encouraged, and seen.

Sports not only help them stay active and healthy, but they also inspire them to come to school, build lasting friendships, and believe in their potential—on and off the field.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we're doing everything we can to provide these young athletes with the resources they need to thrive. Unfortunately, our budget is limited, and we are in great need of equipment to continue supporting our sports programs. We are currently seeking donations of basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, jerseys, a scoreboard, and any other equipment or supplies that could help us grow our program and continue making a difference in these students’ lives.

Anything you can contribute would mean the world to us and to the kids we serve. Your generosity will go a long way in helping us create a positive and motivating environment where every child has a chance to shine.
