ASFL Gaming and Growing

Help me give my students the tools necessary to compete throughout our district and state in our first year as a competitive esports team.

My Project

This year our school's goal is to create a diverse and inclusive gaming community that can compete locally and throughout the district. Esports is an up and past time that has exploded in popularity in the digital age. Our goal with our esports team is to ensure that all students, regardless of their financial standing, have the equitable opportunity to be successful in this sport.

By creating opportunities for students to game we create a welcoming environment that supports both social and academic needs.

Research shows that students who participate in esports are more likely to pursue STEAM careers, increased mental capacity, and improved memory. There is also a link to student participation in esports and to them having a sense of belonging in the school. Esports participation has also been shown to improve problem-solving capabilities and increase scientific methodology.

By donating to our esports team you are not only supporting our students now but also providing them opportunities for high school teams and college scholarships. In addition, our team provides students a place to be themselves and have fun. All the games, equipment and gift cards will be directly used to support our esports team.
