Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My ASD students would benefit greatly from a calming center and we are attempting to create this room by blacking out the window with the backdrops and adding photos for each student of something they affiliate with calm vibes.
I will utilize the frames for photos the students find calming and comforting.
I will play calming music the classroom and lunch room with the Bose Soundlink. The black backdrop will serve to make the room void of sunlight and create a calm environment. The bowls and plates will be used for snacks the children will be provided in this area.
