My Students

CAA is a Fine Arts Magnet school. As teachers we get the opportunity to enhance our teaching with Arts Integration lessons. It is a way to incorporate the art content into the everyday content. Our kids love getting to create visual pieces of art, tableaus, raps/songs, even dances, to help enhance the content they are learning. It gives the kids an outlet to express themselves in a unique way.

My Project

The items on the list will be used to enhance learning by using Arts Integration! Arts Integration is a tool used to help students have a different outlet to learn.

The flashlights will be used for a light energy Arts Integration lesson.

The students will capture long exposure pictures using a camera and flashlights. They will create lines with the flashlights while a long exposure picture is taken.

The paint/watercolors and varies paintbrushes will be used in many different ways. My students love getting to use Arts Integration to enhance their learning.
