it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I'm requesting are essential for our arts in reading project. We need paint, brushes, notebooks, and laminating pouches. We take the thinking about reading to the next level by recreating our own version of book covers for books we read. This makes the reading more memorable, personable and learning more engaging. My students have done similar projects in the past and we would like to continue to do this with future books. My students now cannot wait to read new books now because they get to redesign the cover using their unique talents combined with their exceptional imagination.
