My Project

My students are 13-19 year-old curious creators from a variety of backgrounds who need basic supplies to experiment with as they develop their own unique and personal artistic style! With heavyweight paper, markers, color pencils, and palettes to secure their paints from day to day - their Visual Arts experience is sure to be *Artrageous*!

These materials may seem mundane, but they are much needed necessities!

The large heavyweight drawing paper can be cut down and customized to suit each individual artist's vision. Sturdy all-media paper is a multi-tasking beast in the art room as it can handle watercolor, ink, and paint. Color pencils and markers are basics that we use nearly everyday - whether they are the star of the assignment, or are utilized in planning stages of the project.

*BONUS - Studies have shown that expression through art can help people with depression, anxiety, and stress! My artists practice numerous techniques we call "Mindset Monday" art exercises to promote their mental health. These baseline materials would be a big boost to these efforts!
