My Project
Color is an important, but basic element of art. Color mixing and color theory are foundations in art that allow students to build on ideas and create a new world before their eyes either in 2D or 3D form. My students love to see their 3D pottery projects come to life with a little bit of added color that looks glass-like when put in the kiln. It helps turn something bland into something a bit more fun.
Donations to this project will help provide color in the form of glaze to be used on various ceramic projects in our classroom.
By allowing students access to colorful glaze, provides an opportunity for students to be more creative and free with what they make in the art room. That freedom is what fuels students to become independent artists with grand imaginations!
