This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My second graders love to create art. Their favorite time of day is when we break out the crayons, markers, and color pencils to add some creative flair to our learning. When I announce we are going to do a directed drawing, they are even more excited.
Helping my students expand their knowledge and understanding about art and color is so important.
We do not always have the materials on hand we would like to work with. Different paints and canvas will open a new world of art to my students.
