My Project
Since September our students have done a great job learning about art. This winter I want to encourage our students to keep growing as artists by adding new materials to our centers. Your support of this project will help me do just that.
During center time, students decide what and how they will create using familiar concepts and materials.
For example, students can go to a center such as drawing, painting, collage, fiber, or sculpture and explore in their own art making the concept of how artists use the element of line in order to create a mood. Many learning styles and interests of our students are addressed during center work.
As mentioned above, centers truly boost student engagement. The fluorescent paint listed in this project will build up excitement in the painting center. Thank you for your generosity. It is sure to inspire creativity and fun!
