My Project

Projects are incredibly important in ELA!

My students are creative, energetic, and full of ideas—and I want to give them new ways to express their understanding of literature.

We read incredible stories, poems, and plays in our ELA classroom, and now it’s time to bring those words off the page through art!

With your help, I’d love to provide art supplies like pencils, sharpies, highlighters, markers, sketch pads, glue sticks, colored pencils, card stock, large drawing paper, tape, and rulers. These materials will allow my students to create character portraits, theme-based collages, blackout poetry, visual storytelling projects, novel projects, and poetry projects that deepen their comprehension and bring literature to life in new and exciting ways.

This project will give everyone a chance to engage creatively with our curriculum. Art helps students build confidence, think critically, and express themselves—and your support will make all of this possible.
