This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students from Brooklyn are always reminded to continue to strive to do their best. They are always up for the challenge and have the desire to constantly learn something new.
Their unique talents alway keeps me motivated and wanting to do more.
I service a population of over 300 students. They are all eager to learn and contribute to their classroom communities.
My Project
Our school continues to encourage students to strive to do their best. Mastering skills, completing art projects and learning to express themselves in new ways helps kids gain confidence and perseverance not to mention that it can build their self esteem and self expression. I want to continue to spread the love of art in our students and with art education on the decline in schools all around the world (including ours), it’s up to us as teachers to continue to infuse creative projects and endless ideas and opportunities to inspire, introduce and cultivate the little Picasso in each child.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student creativity, you will ultimately help to increase their continued passion for art.
Students will be able to simply focus on art and expressing themselves at hand, and not have to worry that their school has limited funding therefore cannot participate in art class and or engage in the experience.
