This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kid art is the best! When students can be creative and explore in art this helps them in so many areas. These paints will help kindergarten students with the development of motor skills, social skills, decision making, risk taking and inventiveness. Art teachers students about color, blending, perspective, balance, creativity, and allows for them to have success. This flows over in other academic areas in that success breeds more success.

Art gives students that ability to express themselves.

Imaginative activities for young students can lead to better skills in social interactions and emotional regulation. Lessons in art help introduce students to problem solving techniques, which help them see the world in new and creative ways.
