Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is comprised of 24 energetic and inquisitive transitional kindergartners whose families come from ten different countries from around the world. For many of them, this is their first school experience. Currently, we are distance learning and we need essential materials to make this year as inclusive as possible.

My Project

My students have returned to school full time and our easel and drying rack are no longer in good shape. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are our favorite days because we get to go outside and have time to express ourselves through art. The current easel can only provide space for four students. We try to ensure everyone gets a turn, but space is limited. Having an additional four-sided easel will help alleviate congestion and wait time. I want the students to have ample space and time to create their masterpieces through art.
