This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is designated a Title I school because it services a high percentage of students from low-income families. It is composed of high percentage of limited English proficient children and children with disabilities. My class is composed of highly motivated 4th grade students. My class has a large range of abilities and intellect and are always looking to improve their learning. I strive to make their education engaging and fun. My goal as their teacher is to give them the life skills and proper education needed to succeed in life and become the future leaders of their community. With your help, we can acquire the tools and skills to reach their dreams. Thank you for your consideration.

My Project

Have you ever had that one teacher that has made a long lasting impact in your life. That is what I’m hoping to be for my 4th grade class. One of the ways I’m planning to make an impact is with a wonderful art curriculum. However, art materials is not always assessable for many of the projects I want to create. With a little bit of help I feel these resources can make a large and lasting impact in my class. I will use these resources during art time to instruct my class on a variety of art concepts through illustration. My class loves art and I feel these resources will just make it that much more better. Thank you for your taking the time in reading this and taking my class into consideration.
