Our school serves students in grades K-2. My class is unique, as I serve many students with disabilities. The students are a joy to work with. My students need and deserve classroom supplies to help with their educational and social needs. All the students have their own individuality and are eager to learn and try new things. The items I have requested will help them to learn in their own way. It is very important to reach students where they are when they come to me, and my responsibility is to show growth by the end of the school year.
My Project
The materials and supplies requested in this project will have my students see a world outside of our classroom. The students will be able to use the computer and printer to create objects, scenery, and ideas that they have seen online or studied through English language arts and social studies in class design and print the assignment. I serve a class of students with disabilities and I never want any obstacles preventing them from pursuing all of their ideas. The students having the ability to create art on the computer and the capability of printing what they have created is an awesome way to give them a hands on art project.
