My Students

My students are an amazing group! Most come from low income families. Each and everyone of them know the meaning of hard work and friendship. These students know how to keep trying no matter what. They are some of the hardest workers I have ever met. Each day they come to my art room with the biggest smiles on their faces ready to learn and try something new.

Friendship and hard work are the themes in my classroom.

The students at my school exemplify both of these traits. They are a family to one another and to me. I want these children to have every opportunity possible.

My Project

I would love for my art students to have wobble seats for flexible seating. Art is a time to be creative and I believe that flexible seating will help to enhance my students imaginations. It will give them the opportunity to wiggle and move about while still working on their artistic skills.

Students will have the ability to wiggle freely while working creatively in art.

Art gives students the ability to express themselves. In elementary school students love to move around and bounce. With over 800 students, this type of seating provides the opportunity to do this to help them create and work to the best of their abilities. I know that flexible seating will provide them with a wonderful chance to be as wiggly and creative as possible.
