This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year I am fortunate to have students who love to create and design. With this in mind, I like to include projects into my curriculum that allows them to be creative and imaginative. We will create books, posters and math manipulatives using materials like Tru-Ray construction paper, School Smart glue sticks and Neenah Bright cardstock.

Project based learning activities encourages students to collaborate with peers, and create things using a variety of art supplies.

Students enjoy learning when it is creative and fun and not just a worksheet. The materials I have requested would be beneficial to my class and help to grow their creativity.
