it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Art holds the power to transform communities, fostering a sense of belonging and unity. In Northridge's school community, the "Art4Change" initiative aims to channel this power through vibrant murals – visual representations of our diverse and beautiful Northridge community.
The "Art4Change" project envisions creating impactful murals, the Northridge Rising Mini Murals, to remind our school community of the beauty that defines Northridge.
These murals go beyond paintings; they are stories encapsulating the spirit of our neighborhood.
Believing in art's ability to evoke emotions and ignite conversations, the project relies on tools like color printers, acrylic painting sets, and canvases. These resources serve as brushes for our collective creativity, enabling us to craft visuals resonating deeply with our school community.
