My Project
In my seven years of teaching, I have seen the pressures of learning to read early or be able to do complex math affect my students of any age. However, the joy that comes from the ability to learn about and create art has been a huge stress reliever for all. Students love the chance to learn about a specific artist or style, or just let their imaginations run wild.
Being able to use different art tools helps students express themselves in ways that words sometimes cannot.
They get to engage in imaginative thinking and forces them to think outside of the box to visualize the end product of their project.
