My Project
My classroom is a vibrant community of learners from many different backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. Every day, my students bring unique perspectives, traditions, and stories into our space. They are eager to express who they are and need supplies that are both accessible and representative.
This project will provide multicultural and inclusive art supplies, such as skin-tone paints, markers, craft materials, adaptive brushes, and sensory-friendly art tools so every student can see themselves in their creations.
By offering a wide range of colors, medium, and tools, I can make sure students of all abilities have equal access to creative expression. These materials will allow students to celebrate their identity through art. Along with that, this project will engage students in Social-Emotional Learning by exploring feelings, building empathy, and connecting with others.
Students will be able to access art through Universal Design for Learning so every learner, regardless of ability, can participate meaningfully. When students can represent themselves accurately in their artwork, they feel seen, valued, and respected. Art becomes more than a school activity. It becomes a safe space for self-expression, cultural pride, and emotional growth. With your support, my students will have the tools they need to tell their stories in every shade, texture, and line.
