This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am currently an Art Teacher to four different schools in one district. Our district is in a high needs community and the students love to create!
Because we are in Arizona a lot of our students are English language learners and with a Document Camera, this technology will help me reach them with visual understanding.
Not only with this technology can I show examples of artist, however I can also illustrate how to properly do art work UP CLOSE!!! :)
My Project
With a Document Camera, It will provide visual instruction not only for the english language learners, however for everyone. I can use it to show examples, provide direct instruction and this tool can also be use by students. By provide these students with this technology will open up a door of greater understanding of art.
As we move into the 21st century, it would nice to be able to provide these students with the same technology other students in the Country have the opportunity to have in the classroom.
