This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Art can be tremendously beneficial to student's mental health and contribute to their overall happiness and mental well-being. There is a positive connection between art and mental health. Artistic activities are known to lower stress levels and promote mental calmness.

Creating art can take student's mind off of their everyday life and provides a relaxing distraction.

Worries are set aside as you focus on the detail of the art you are creating. Art enhances problem-solving skills since there is no wrong answer in art and students feel encouraged to imagine their own solution. This type of flexible thinking stimulates their brain and prepares students for complicated functions in the same ways that learning math, reading or any other subject. does

Having the requested art materials, our students will be able to relieve their stress and the shelf will help keep us stay organized.
