Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to start next school year with a fully stocked art area so my students can create anything their hearts desire. They love using markers and chalk so we need more sets of those so we don't run out so quickly. We also need big Post It pads so we can brainstorm and draw all of our ideas. The hole punchers will be used in the art area and they are great fine motor practice for little hands! I'll use the laminating sheets to create keepsakes they can take home.
Something else that is near and dear to our Pre-K heart is our Mr. Potato Head set.
He was from a donorschoose project many years ago and he has been very well loved ever since and is missing so many pieces. I am hoping to get a new one since they really love to play with it. We also need a new filter for our classroom air purifier, to help slow down the spread of germs.
