This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a trauma school base therapists kids sometime need to step out of the classic talk therapy methods. By incorporating art in the process can make talking about their traumas easier and colorful. By focussing in the piece they are making they can access unconscious memories they hold on to from their experiences and by accessing them as a therapist you can help them move forward and heal from them.

Every kid deserves to be met at their level.

They should all have access to different styles of therapy that aren's necessarily talk therapy.
