Art Therapy For My Students!

Help me give my students these materials to help with sensory and social emotional needs. I plan to use art as therapy in my classroom , and the sketchbooks will be needed for that.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will allow my special needs students to thrive in my classroom. Pencil grips will help them with fine motor skills and the stress balls will allow them to let out some stress during classroom instruction.

Art sketch books are for our directed art lessons that are a form of therapy for many of my students.

They will be used all year for drawing, sketching and creating storyboards for writing.

The chair socks will be great for students that have difficulty sitting quietly and will buffer the noise on our tile floor.
